Diane Kruger in Erdem | Sidaction Gala Dinner 2012

As Paris Haute-Couture Fashion Week comes to a close, Diane Kruger made sure to show her pretty face at one of the last major soirees — the Sidaction Gala Dinner 2012; a French event that’s devoted to raising awareness and funds for AIDS.

The 35-year-old actress slipped into a daring — and totally sheer – long-sleeve grey lace crew-neck gown, from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Erdem, that featured an asymmetric solid light grey strapless mini dress underneath. This dress was gorgeous on the catwalk and, thankfully, Diane didn’t disappoint me when she wore it tonight. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think this design would translate to the red carpet well… but I was wrong.

I think her hair would have looked nice up, but I’m happy that she wore it behind her shoulders, and it was smooth, rather than in something unkempt. This style also allowed for her beautiful large earrings to stand out against her blonde tresses.

She carried a complimenting dark grey metallic clutch and wore sexy nude patent Christian Louboutin “Croislleta” sandals.
